The Kershaw® Thrust ™ Assisted Opening Folding Knife has all the features you need for rapid 1-hand deployment, in a knife that's comfortable to carry. Utilizing Kershaw's Speedsafe® Assisted Opening system, the Thrust opens with a manual push on the blade's thumb stud or with a pull on the blade protrusion (flipper). Once open, the blade locks into position with a sturdy frame lock to keep it from folding in the user's hand during use. A torsion bar within the mechanism helps prevent the knife from opening accidentally when carrying. A textured 410 stainless steel handle provides a solid non-slip hold. A hardened 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade holds an edge, without being excessively difficult to sharpen. The blade and handle of the Thrust Assisted Opening Folding Knife feature a black oxide blackwash finish to prevent reflection at inconvenient moments.
