The Bass Pro Shops Future Legends Open is a kids fishing event for elementary, middle, and high school students. The event is taking place at Cherokee Lake on March 12. Elementary students are able to bring in a 3-fish mixed bag of catfish, bass, and panfish by weight, middle and high school are doing a 3-Bass limit by weight. All fish must be over the limit size on Cherokee Lake. All fish must be brought to the store alive and released. The event is designed to get kids out fishing in a tournament event and give them a weigh in experience.
